Yes, but the guy also said, that he wouldn't do it again! He had to change the mountingpoints of the engine and gearbox so much that he has got alot of vibrations transferred to the chassis. It seems to be so bad, that it almost kills the fun of driving the car

Well, the Guy from the pictures above, and then there is another one in Austria with a Tipo 1,6l engine, but that is only for drag racing.

Uwe Angsten hatte in den 80ern einen ungewöhnlichen Kundenwunsch:
Er sollte einen seiner RS mit dem Motor eines Polo G 40 aufbauen.
Der Vorderwagen wurde dafür umgebaut, Streben verschweißt, andere Motorlager angepaßt usw usw.....
Das Projekt ist aber nie fertiggestellt worden und der Wagen mit einem normalen 70HP- Motor ausgeliefert worden.
Warum das Projekt allerdings gestorben ist, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis
