1984 Ritmo Torque Spec - Axle Retaining Nut

    Hello everyone,


    I need some help once again! I am in the process of assembling the Ritmo's front axles but I need the torque spec for the axle retaining nut (the one that goes on the spindle). I don't know if it is the same as the series one so I wanted to check with you all. I am sorry to be a pest (I do have the book with all the specs but I just moved and have not moved into the house yet so it is in a box, somewhere...). Thank you all once again for your help.

    The Fiat book for the MK2 series shows 30Nm for this nut. I remember that I had an instruction for my Abarth which stated that you still must be able to move the washer behind the nut with e.g. a screwdriver.


    (I always used my huge practice and my enormous talent to do this job without a torque wrench and never killed a bearing. :stonewashed )
