PBS Head VS 16v swift gti

    I am planing to buy one more Autobianchi a112.
    I would like to have more powerfull engine in it.
    which is better way to go
    -PBS head with carbs
    -PBS head with ITB+megasquirt
    -suzuki swift gti engine transplantation.


    engine transplantation is more complex, but PSB (or other 8-port heads) are expencive.


    The car will be Summer daily driver for open roads and highway.

    This is a very personal choice. All three variations have their own appeal.
    I personally love carb's! Mecanically and acustic a real pleasure for me.
    For the younger people under us, it may be more interesting to handle with a e-injection system and find out the different mapings possibilities by computer programming.
    Last but not least, a transplantation of the heart. This may be an option if you don't look for total originality and you've the skill to adapt all systems to the present hardware.
    Something about 90 HP is to archieve with the original engine without any loosing of reliabilty for daily driving. If you want more, then go for a transplantation.
    Anyway, my advice to you is; Whatever you do, do it right!
