I know! But does the mechanical pump have any electrical wiers to it also? (hat die mekanische bensin pumpe auch elektrische kabeln?)
I looked under my seat and saw that there were two wiers connected to the pump. I got confused cuz i thought i had an mechanical pump and didn't know if the mechanical pump also has wires connected to it. How can i tell if my pump is mechanical or electrical? I dont understand.
hello,
I have heard from an car firma that i can use 34 DMTR29/300 weber from an citroen cx on my car for tuning. Is this true?
How can I see if my pump is mechanical or electrical? Can it have electrical wires attached to it even though it is a mechanical pump?
could it also be that the "floater" in the vergaser moves around too much and blocks the propper level of gasoline to enter?
Any ideas?
Doesn't anyone know what electrical fuelpump is used in the a112?
Ok thanks, I'll see what I can do.
Does any one know what fuel pump I can use ?
Hello everyone
I still have the problem with my car on the track! After a few laps it starts juddering and staling! It seems as if the engine doesn't get fuel when the road is twisty. When driving straight and normaly on the normal road it works fine.
I suspect that my fuelpump doesn't work correctly on the twisty track. I have heard that this pump can be upgraded to a electrical one.
Could anyone please tell me which one I can use and the how to make it work.
Thanks
PS I have a 30 mb movie from my last track day but I dont know how to put it up on the internet. Does anyone know anyone with a server that can host the film or maybe anyone knows a free webbserver on the internet.

Hello I will try and clean my vergaser tomorrow.
Do you have any tips and hints that can help me?
You are welcome to answer in German too.
Marco
Thanks for that answer...now I understand
I have read before that the first prototype had 108 HP. It had two 40 Webers . When Fiat bought the concept they then changed it down to 32 Weber.
Did they change more stuff in the engine or was that it? Cuz then theoretically i could just fit two 40 webers and get 108 hp just like that???

may also bee that the carburator is dirty, but whats about ice? several times my carburator was frozen after few km. then only three cylinders worked any more. if i stoped the engine for a few seconds everything was ok. rainer thiel also had this problem with his racing a112.

Yes but shouldnt the carburator then also be iced every time I drive regularly too? Cuz when i drive normally (not on a race track) then I havent expirienced this.
Danke for the answers. Could it also be that the carburator is dirty? I know it says in the workmanual that you can clean it.
What do these symptoms point to? After a while of some hard driving (race track) my car starts to studder and jerk and it stops pulling for a short second and then starts and pulls again even though I gas the whole time ???. Its not overheating according to the temp gauges, so what can it be?
What engine oil are you guys using in your cars?
I use Castrol TSW 10-40 but I am not so sure that I should
Cheers
yes its me.....the damage was luckily not much, only on the paintwork and some light plate work is needed.
My first race and this happens <img src="http://images.rapidforum.com/images/i19.gif" border="0[/url]
They are available and legal here in Sweden. Should be legal in he rest of the EU too. I dont think they are too loud.
