The manual is all in Italian
Could someone plese tell me where exactly I do the "einstellung".
What is the little "valve" on the side for and do I need to fill them up with gas now?

Yes i think this would be best.

Ist es ganz grosse unterschied zwichen soft und hard? Oder merkt man das nur wenn man rennfahrt?
Yes but then I need to take them out again in order to be able to adjust them. I was hoping I could pre set them and just keep them like that?
Do I set all of them the same or should the front and back be different?
Habe mich neue gekauft heute. Die grune einstellbare.
Was ist ihre meinung, wie soll ich das einstellung machen vor ich sie einbaunen, soft , medium oder hart?
Ps. Ich fahre meistens auf die strasse.

I have bad transport oppertunities cuz my car is still in Sweden..grr..but if you are around here I would be glad to come and meet you cuz then its easier. What car(s) do you have?
yep..still in frankfurt
Im not talking about "streetrace" as in Fast and furios. Our cars are not for streetrace but just in general! I would say everyone here has on some point floored the car in order to feel how fast it is and I bet there are many that have tried their car against another car. There is nothing wrong in this. Don't tell me that if you stand at the lights and a kid pulls up to you in his ..lets say..styled punto sporting and revs his enginge...that you would not give him a match? I would for sure.
After my tune up with 10-15 more PS the cars feelt pretty fast. It keept up with a lot of "newer" and "stronger" cars from standstill and on the move. I remeber racing a Ford Puma 1.7 once and he had difficultys passing me. I also raced an older Mitsu Eclipse (pre1995) and he could not pass me.
I just though it would be interesting to hear what cars you have raced against and what your oppinion is?
Cheers

Ok danke.
I know this thread is old but I just wanted to let you know guys. The problem was my "dichtung" between the vergaser and the top. The dichtung was not keeping it tight enough and especially when I was turning.
So now you know
I will not do any more quarter mile races I just wanted to test the car and see how fast it is. All I did was to brake it
I think that in Sweden we dont have the LX and Elegant model. Only Abarth and Junior but the Junior also came with 5 speed gearbox (I know couse i had one) which was probably the same as the one in the LX and Elegant.
I was asking couse Junior (LX and Elegant) gearboxes seem to be cheaper and more available here in Sweden than the Abarth ones and therefore I might use those instead.
Oliver. Do you know how much slower (top speed) the car will be with the LX gearbox becouse of the final gear ratio?
No there are junior gearboxes that have 5 speed too. But are they the same as the ones in the Abarth i.e gear ratio, fitting and so on???
Nobody knows???!!
Kann man einen junior Getriebe Abarth fahren? What are the differences?
I have checked now! Its not the pump, its not the fuel pipes pipes it is not the needle in the vergaser or the floaters, its not leaking in any air... Im getting crazy over here!
Saturday 6 august: Took off the 34 vergaser and put back the original 32 vergaser. It is working so far....lets hope for the best. Seems like there is something wrong with the 34 vergaser
Absolutely amazing. Whats the specs?
I have a mechanical pump. I was just wondering if it the "pump" thing in the tank that is causing the problems. I have cleaned out the whole vergaser and the nozzels too.
I will check my fuelpump next. Wish me luck
